Something not working, or not working the way you expected? Tell us. One person reads these, and that person wrote the app.

Quite a few questions already have answers on the FAQ — offline behaviour, battery, where the stories come from, what happens to your location. If yours isn't there, use the form.

Send a message

The more specific, the faster this goes: what you expected, what happened instead, and roughly where you were driving when it did.

Or email

support@whistlestop.guide reaches the same place. The form is the surer route while that mailbox is still being set up.

Reporting something wrong in a story

Stories are written from Wikipedia articles and our own curated stops, so an error is usually one of two things: the source itself is wrong, or the retelling drifted. Both are worth reporting — send the place name and roughly what it said, and it'll get looked at. If the source article is the problem, Wikipedia is editable by you too.

Privacy and your data

What we hold is short: your travel log never leaves your phone, and your location is never stored on our servers. Messages sent through this page are kept until they're answered. The full privacy story spells out the rest, including how to have anything deleted.
