Built in 1869 by J. D. Berry. Native limestone; Victorian architecture distinguished by steep roof, narrow windows, filigree gingerbread trim. Purchased 1965. Restored by public donation sponsored by Stephenville Study Club to house historical museum. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, 1967.
