Architecture·Orange County·Texas

Henry B. Jackson, a prominent local banker and businessman, built this home soon after he purchased the property in 1902. In 1909 he sold it to Frank W. Hustmyre, Vice President of the Orange National Bank and manager and secretary-treasurer of the Orange Grocery Co. Constructed of yellow pine lumber, the residence features a variety of shingling, a gazebo-like balcony with a conical roof and detailing of the Queen Anne style.
